When working with students on a day-to-day basis in classrooms there are a range of different ways in which we might provide students with some insights into how mathematics and science might be used in a range of different workplaces. For example:
- We might organise students to work in ways that reflect the types of roles and responsibilities that occur in a workplace where science and/or mathematics plays an important role;
- We might ask them to engage with a task that draws on data and information from a specific work place or vocational area.
